i bougt mine 2 years ago, which looks the same as this one on screen, and it was about 780 levs in my country (Bulgaria). Thats about 400 euro, but it’s way better than that peace which tey’re showing. It has 16o GB hard drive 1,5 GB RAM an its running Windows XP perfectly…with skype and everything
this guyz are retarded i have this netbook. it has about 8 hours of battery not 2! also it takes very little time for it to boot up. this is a great netbook and its only 299 at most stores
I bout the linpus one which was about £50 cheaper than the windows one. and installed windows xp on it. It’s a nice buy i suppose. £250 2008 ^^ first one burnt out and had to be fixed >.>

yes its longlife because it doesnt havebuiltin cd/dvd drive fu connect d usb drive it will drain battery life quickly + u carry arount withit dabgling usbcables opticaldrive+ac adapter fur not a cd/dvd user really then this tiny computer is really very fantastic than a full weighted laptop it can perform like bigheavy laptops but weighs like a box of munchkins donut

I know little to nothing about computers, but were I to purchase this at a local store, would it come installed with an operating system (I’m looking for Windows 7 or Vista)? Also, were I to install Skype &/or iTunes on it, would it considerably slow down the speed of its task completions or distort them? If anyone could answer my questions, I’d greatly appreciate it.

i have this netbook but i downloaded windows 7 and its super fast i only cost $255

@molbs5859 im buying the same one, but at my local walmart it is only $250. Anyway, yours might have different memory i think its worth it.
I have the 10 inch Windows version (with 1 gig of ram and 160 gigs HDD) of the first one. Thing’s a peice of shit and the battery died before the thing was even a year old. I’d only run it off the battery once a week, and at that for an hour at time.
In short, fuck Acer and their shitty netbooks.

@TheSkyScanner Well what I use is a Home Adapter for Cars. Plug it in and I can plug in anything that uses the AC plug (Standard US/Canada outlets) And it works too. I THINK I got it from Wal-Mart
