does this or any other version if the qosmio have a built in webcam with microphone?
@StarWarsLover9210 – I met several high-end company executives and they all had Dell’s. I’d have to say that Dell is the way to go. “HP is not the computer you’re looking for…”
Fantastic review!! Really a class act and a nice presentation. I just bought a G55-804 on e-bay for 375 dollars!!! I am an honest person but I do believe this gentleman did not know the value of this machine. It was his wifes and she left him. He probably would have given it top me for free to get the memories stored in his hard drive…Ill let ya know later LOL… Thats about it Thanks again, Marshall

@Kittymarble I’ve had this laptop for about 2 years now and haven’t had any problems with it. I know that experiences vary and it seems like everything made in this age is of questionable quality, AlienWare for instance, It used to be a nice computer but then another company bought the name and made cheaper computers with the AlienWare logo. They pump out garbage until people realize they’re not worth buying, and then they come up with another name. I miss quality products…
You buy this thing, you will regret it. Toshiba laptops like the X305 Qosmio and Satellite A500 black out. The more you try and fix it, the worse it becomes. The heat in these two laptops, are horrible! The Qosmio being the worst. If not yet, but soon you will notice the laptop will start to black out. If you bought these two laptops, return them and AVOID, I repeat, AVOID TOSHIBA!
Hello, Very nice review…you really covered a lot. Im looking right now on e-bay and he is selling a used one for model Toshiba Qosimo G55-Q804 and is listing it for a starting bid of 395.00 dollars. Almost makes me wonder if its a good working unit. He has 100% feedback and a 7 day money back guarentee so there is 16 hours left on the auction and not one bid yet?? The machine is awkward. Neither portable nor a fully satisfying desktop rig. The FM radio tuner is an interesting addition. How much is battery life? Do they still make them?

Qosmio is the cream of the crop. It’ doesn’t get any better than this before you get to ta Mac.
