@rico7738 I know the Site says FULL HD and 1080p but the actual resolution is 1080i not p.
I think she got her information wrong with the HD resolution. The NEX-5 does 1080p, not 1080i.
great camera… i got mine with a 16mm and 18-55mm bundle… i highly recommend this.. they forgot to mention that the NEX 5 is made out of strong magnesium alloy!!! If you watch this video, you will end up buying this camera…

sony a300k is way better, its a step up from amuature dslrs like nikon d40 etc. its more of a experianced photography camera.

I got the 350, but why is the 300 only available at jessops?
Totaly agree just got the sony a300. it is realy good and i have taken some fantastic pictures!! The 300 can take 3 fps were the 350 has 2.5 fps! get the 300!!!
The Alpha 300 is a fantastic camera. The fold out screen is very useful and image quality is second to none. 14mp is no needed!!! In the UK it’s only available through Jessops and they were very helpful.
Lots of features, but what about maintenance? In particular where is the ‘main’ backup memory battery held and how accessible is it?
Will it be necessary to send the body to an authorised Sony service/repair agent at ‘cost’ to get it replaced in three or so years time?
Thats why i bought a A300.
Normal Holiday Picture maker falling into the Pixel Mad (sorry about ma bad English ;o) ).

14 MP on a CCD sensor is a tad too much.
