  7. Hi Gordon,Thanks for the excellent review which helped me to make up my mind in buying this camera and I bought one for myself and I am very pleased with the camera for the price it’s worth.

  8. Good review (and camera). Comes with a 163 page instruction book. So you will have a bit of homework to do unless you are photog wizz. Still it’s all part of the “fun” I suppose-learning I mean.

My 14th birthday and it’s awsom…. Takes great pictures!…my friends also love it too!

  19. hi.. i have a fujifilm finepix j110w.. i transfered my videos to my laptop and i dont know how to put them back onto my camera now.. can someone help me please??

  20. i guess it depends what you use it for. I am super amateur and it will be basically my first camera for taking photos for any other reason than memories. I will not be enlarging the images to big on my computer either. Maybe around 800×600px.
Doesn’t it depend on ISO aswell? I don’t plan on using it much in dimly lit situations either. So i cant see it getting alot of noise at ISO 64

  21. sweet vid
imgetting the fujifilm finepix s8100fd is that an updated version of this one ?
and i bought a 8gb card for it for £21 is a really good buy?

  22. let’s just say i wouldn’t buy again knowing what i know now after having used it for several months. tons of noise, omnipresent purple fringing, no zoom in video mode. two killer features, the 18x optical zoom and the image stabilizer but not much else… hindsight 20/20 i guess…

  23. I’ve not tested it so can’t say, but if you visit cameralabs . com you’ll find reviews of the Panasonic FZ28 and Canon SX10 IS which are two superzoom cameras which might interest you.

  24. hi i was thinking about the updated version the Fuji S8100. What so you think of it? i would like to know your views.thanks

  25. There’s sample images in the Gallery and Results sections of our review at cameralabs . com!
