I think there’s a little problem with my camera since the shots are always overexposed and underexposed. The flash is bright enough but the pictures lack color saturation and background brightness (Slow Sync Flash won’t do the job, trust me). Can someone help me over here?

I think you have unrealistic expectations based upon the specs of this camera (hard to find using Yahoo Search).
Look for a new camera here.
