For knowing information about your email sender, you should know his or her IP Adress. In this article, we just talk about two providers: yahoo and Gmail.
Yahoo Mail :
1. Sign in to Yahoo Mail.
2. Click Inbox.
3. Open the mail
4. If the header is not showed, do these steps:
a. Click Options in the up right corner.
b. Click General Preference in the Options page.
c. Scroll down to the Message. You will find Header option
d. Choose “Show All” to all of the headers of incoming messages.
e. Click Save.
f. Back to the message and open the message
5. You will see the header like that:
Yahoo! headers : name
Look for Received: from followed by the IP address between square brackets [ ]. Here, it is 202.65.138.109.
6. 202.65.138.109 is the IP address of the email sender.

Gmail :
1. Log in to Gmail
2. Click Inbox
3. Open the mail
4. To show the header :
a. Click More
b. Click Show Original.
5. You will find the header like that:
Gmail headers : name
Look for Received: from followed by the IP address between square brackets [ ]. Here, it is 202.65.138.109.
