Nano Processor, the New Challenger of Intel

Nano Processor, known by Isaiah, was launched by VIA Technology on Thursday. It is a low-power processor which will be the challenger of Intel. The light and thin laptops, even mini-notebooks can use it.

Nano processor is more efficient in power. Via’s said 1.8 GHz Nano CPU is more efficient than a 1.6 GHz Intel Celeron M-520 (31 watt TDP). 1.8 GHz Nano is fast in running the system, if we compare with other 1.8 GHz C7 processo

The battery life is also longer. This product will hit the market in the third quarter of the year

On that event, VIA launched five kinds of nano processor. The five processors have different clock speeds, about 1.0 GHz till 1.8 GHz. While the power is arranged from about 5 watts till 25 watts.

We just wait the result, whether Nano will be the real challenger for Intel or not.
