Using Certain Tactics to Internet Explorer and Firefox: Change History Saving Mode



In this article, we’ll tell some ways to change history saving mode of Internet Explorer and Firefox.

Below, we’ll discuss bout Internet Explorer first:

1. Click Tools > Delete Browsing History in Internet Explorer 7.

There are five things you’ll meet: Temporary Internet Files, Cookies, History, Form data, and Password. You also may use “Delete all” to delete all of the reports about some sites you visited.

2. Click Tools > Internet Options, then Settings below “Browsing history” in General tab, and click up or down arrow below the dialog box. It’s useful for changing the settings of your browsing saving period

While, there are two ways you can do for Firefox:

1. Click Tools > Options > Privacy.

You can change days amount about the sites you visited from browser’s memory. Deleting Firefox memory about things you downloaded may be done. You also can inform Firefox not to record data in the search bar or form.

2. Ctrl-Shift-Delete to delete all of privacy data

3. In the address bar, write about:config. Then Enter. Scroll and double-click browser.sessionhistory.max_entries. After that, write page amount that you want. It’s useful for changing page amount you want Firefox saves because Firefox usually save about 50 entries.
