  4. @SocaTrain Cost $499 according to Office Depot. Release End of March / Early April. Same time as HP’s offering. Boom.

  5. @Eloxiel such a strong argument.

  9. @enzo71 cool it is cheaper then iPad

  10. @AamirMuhd
    500 $ for 16G; 600 $ for 32G and 700 for 64G

  11. Blackberry Playbook OS is better than Ipad iOS,

  12. @Kimarey
think about this, Playbook OS is new platform made by QNX, so it is given that there are only few apps for now, only for now that they are still on developing apps for this thing,

  13. @romes2dam That would be amazing. The only thing holding this back is that it doesn’t have enough apps to compete with iOS and Android, but if they could support iOS and Android apps, this could actually be a great device.

  14. I like the fact that they support many different formats and that both IOS and Android games and apps can be brought over to the palybook with just one line of coding..they said it took EA about 15 min to bring NFS and TETRIS to the playbook because all they did was change add one line of coding then test it on the emulator..it all worked well…and also there’s talk about bringing the android market on to this device…

  15. @Eloxiel really…lets see the ipad 2 will have a front camera probably VGA and will have the same screen not retina more memory then the last one, probably dual core, and no flash…so besides the games running better what else will it be able to do…the ipad will depend on apps. the playbook has a full browser you like play flash games you can on this…also they support all formats…so an IOS game could be easly transferd to the playbook will onely one line of code.

  16. I haven’t this before. It’ll be great to see how it compares to the iPad. We use blackberries at County Media. Definitely fans.

  17. i m canadian and i love blackberry

  18. If this was Apple who came with this, people would be drooling outta there clothes…

  19. Guys does any one has idea that how much cost it is going to have??

  20. @SocaTrain the cheaper the better!

  21. @sprucepantherkmt i want the 32 gig, hopefully its 550 and not 600

  22. @SocaTrain i hear ya but im still saving for the anticpated price of $499 so the later the better at leas for me lol

  23. @SocaTrain i hear ya but im still saving for the anticipated $499 price so the later the better at least for me lol

  24. i think the iPad2 will be much better then this thing.

  25. @sprucepantherkmt im all for that but is it too much to ask for a release date? it’ll calm everyone’s nerves, as well as give people sufficient time to get there funds together. this thing could come out this friday and be bought out by a bunch of wall street dudes, leaving none for the normal consumer(a strecth but you get my point) RIM is being VERY cocky

  26. huh they gave the winner to the company which said you can even have sponsors on the app…huh smart of RIM to make that app the winner if you can make money by sell ad space on the app while not making it look like an ad but just part of the app then that is smart.

  27. This is just amazing.
    Love you RIM.

  28. I <3 Blackberry :)

  29. most of the developers don’t show their playbook app
