@LearnToFck what you say is right the design not exist is really ugly!! how they can make this mistake…ahahahah
@nerdotech man, how do you feel to know that you were right?
I have Iphone and BB, and honestly I think the Google phone is a tough one..My girlfriend has it and she has better internet than mines…
sorry mate….it was Xerox who invented the “Mouse”
YOU SNORING TOO LOUD I CANT SLEEP LOOL
Zzzzzz
Now because of the iPhone WOW the market so much, Android better be something WOW WOW for the market. And no matter what HTC is doing, they are just ODM for Google, and this is a Google phone – That’s why “G”1. HTC just making a prototype for everyone to start building apps for Android Market … I am sure it’s HTC’s “DREAM” and their “MAGIC” to be able to make their very own HTC Android phones one day … Brand your own things HTC!
I own an iPhone, loves it for the first few months, after that I feel that there just ain’t enough to keep me going … still exploring and expecting more … so definitely there are still lots of rooms for improvements in smartphones …
I dont own an Iphone at all (Nokia NSeries actually).
it looks pretty cool this one….actually i would love when this baby gets for sell…more competition will make these kind of products better. Please stop rating ppl down ’cause you hate apple/google.
I can’t wait to try it out for myself!
This guy sounds like an aggressive infomercial salesman. Perchance the Oxyclean peddler?
Can. Comes with a youtube app, same as the iPhone
i believe in android, i don’t believe in this model of the phone
pretty ugly.
ironic that you can’t watch youtube on an android phone
but they invented the mouse
What would you suggest? Ruby? Perl? Worse … PHP? Java was a very logical choice. Mostly because it’s got automatic memory management. One of the largest issues with developing for the iPhone is managing memory by hand. I’d suggest that you stop talking out of the side of your neck and actually do a little research (AND CODING) for both platforms. You’ll see that the Google platform is far superior.
Nah, what I mean is that their wifi connection was crap, not the phone
Yeah, I suppose. Saying that though – most users won’t be using Wembley’s fast wifi…..
They were using their own private wifi network for the demo, not Wembley’s fast wifi or a cellular network
It took a worrying amount of time to load slash dot..
I’d suggest that as the Android platform is open and the iPhone platform is closed, it really speaks for itself…
You seem under the misapprehension that Apple invented either icons or touch screens. Neither of which are true…
I’m sorry, but nothing will beat the crowd of people the iPhone drew…
still the iPhone…
Something such as TouchFlo 3D should be introduced to the Andriod platform, iPhone has got Core Animation
@blutterback1234 wow, ur a fag too.
“Stop draining battery”
There are issues with this if you had your phone before 2.2 came out, you need to clear the voice search app of any data, then re-download the voice search app from the market… then it works!
@Tobelli this is for Android 2.2
Speak slower jerk!!
Does not text to anyone on my contacts with my incredible!
Hi, this is stunning! And it’s also available in German -but what are the commands to invoke an action?
@Tobelli It only works on 2.2
Anything I say is being search on google.
So “voice actions” like “call” “navigate to” “text to” do not work!
Why is that?
I have HTC wildfire and voicesearch 2.1
@blutterback1234 Wow, thanks blutterback1234, you’re a really nice guy!
@LegendaryJarl because he was born different from you? you should also get some slaves while you’re at it you dick
@therandygoat yeaaaa, that’s a good one dude.. Thumbs up this guy he’s a real winner..
Yeah, but can he ask the phone for an easy way to tell his father he is queer? What will you do then, android? What then??
0:44 – The owner of Blue Ribbon Bakery is going to be pretty pissed off at you prank-calling him and hanging up. HE’S GOT A JOB TO DO, YOU F£$%&IN’ TOURIST!! XD
This guy smiles a lot. A he’s totally gay. And he’s really cute :]
I just had another thought… They show this working so well but Google Voice transcription gives us this… google search -”Epic Google Voice Transcripts”
So I think this demo may be a bit of BS.. This dude is a very good speaker (excellent diction) unlike 90% of the population of any nation. I think Google should have prefaced this with “your milage may vary”.
This is a rather cool feature… I’m sure Apple will be buying up Dragon Search (at least license it) on iOS devices to have the same exact functionality. Then again iOS has some of it.
It doesnt really matter to me if he’s gay but OMG he was on 14th street in Manhattan, ahhahahahahaha thats part of the Village rather close to Christopher St. which is the heart of the Gay community in NYC XDDDD *giggles* Nah but wtf does it matter if he is gay? get over it! I think he does a fantastic work.
too bat it’s only available in the US
yeah he´s so gay jajaja
@LegendaryJarl Prick.
the program is awesome. however, this guy looks and talks so gay, I want to punch him so bad!!!!
I’d say this is totally awesome! Really worth getting an Android.
