NAVIGON 2100 max GPS



Navigon 2100 Max is an alternative GPS which we can not compete with TomTom and Garmin. The 2100 Max has good and slim design. The dimensions are 4.8 x 3 x 0.7 inches and the weight is 6.3 ounces. Compare with Navigon 2100, the 2100 Mas has larger touch screen (about 4.3 inches). Therefore, the users will enjoy use it to view maps.

Compared with TomTom and Garmin GPS, the software’s efficient is worse. Consequently, you need more time and work for searching for POI, entering addresses, etc.

There are some features added in the Navigon 2100 Max. First, Reality View helps you for viewing “photorealistic” 3D. Second, DirectHelp which acts like “Where am I?” on Garmin. DirectHelp gives you information about the exact coordinates you are. The users also get information about the closest hospital, police station, roadside assistance, and pharmacy. However, there is no Bluetooth on Navigon 2100 Max.

How about the performance? Hmm, it is not better than TomTom and Garmin. Even, the time of Navigon 2100 Max registers the command is late than the time of taping the screen’s icons. Consequently, there are some miscalculations of navigation.

Strengths:
a. The touch screen is larger than previous versions (about 4.3 inches)
b. The 2100 Max has some improvement on features, include safety tools and lane assistance
c. The text-to-speech functionality is offered too

Weakness: The performance is slower than other brands.
