RIM BlackBerry Bold 9900 hands-on and initial impressions

The Bold 9900 has the traditional BlackBerry form-factor, but with an all new touchscreen above the QWERTY keyboard. It is powered by a 1.2GHz processor and has the new BlackBerry 7 OS with Liquid Graphics engine for smooth graphics and transitions. It should be hitting shelves worldwide this summer. Finally Blackberry gets its RIGHT!
As a former BB fan (and current Droid incredible user) I am very pleased. I was awestruck when Motorola beat BB to it with the Droid Pro. I was like whaat?? Why are these Candians so slow to keep up? Mind boggling. Looks like they have finally stepped up. Send this one to Verizon please!!

They should have done away with the trackpad row of buttons and made the screen bigger, would have been much better. Still going to be my next fone though.

its a beautiful phone and deffinetly will be the best blackberry out there but what pisses me off is they have gone through the troubles of making it faster and upgrading the memory etc but they have left the camera at just 5mp…cant believe they couldnt just add a 8mp….the 5mp camera on the bold 9780 and the torch is poor for taking pictures and video so if its the same one as them i think thats poor from blackberry to do that…i wanna get it but the camera being just 5mp puts me off
@chancesareshewears Do your research. Rim will have two full touchscreen phones coming out this year. Plus many people DO want physical keyboards. Not everyone wants to watch tv on their phones so a big screen is NOT a must.

Just saying, the mobile burn intro was kinda awesome with subs
