Okay. So i’ve been wanting to buy a Blackberry Storm online because its cheaper. Some people say they have an unlocked version Blackberry Storm and some people just put Blackberry Storm. What’s the difference?

Unlocked means it can be used on networks other than Verizon.

  1. When it comes to cell phones, the terms ‘locked’ and ‘unlocked’ refer to which carriers you can use the phone with. If the phone is locked it will only be usable with the carrier which originally sold the phone. If the phone is unlocked, it will be usable with any carrier that has the capability of connecting to the phone.

  2. unlocked means it can run on any cell network. locked means it can only run on verizon
