CGRundertow – RANGO for PlayStation 3 Video Game Review
Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Rango from Electronic Arts for the PlayStation 3. Rango is also available for the Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360 and Nintendo DS. Rango borrows a lot from modern 3D platformers, mashing up platforming with other genres. Action, shooting — you do a lot of different things in this game, and surprisingly, they’re all pretty enjoyable, too. Rango is also a very pretty game, and one of the reasons for that is that the character assets and game art came from the halls of Industrial Light and Magic, which did the movie. Having actual assets from the film gives Rango an authentic look most movie-based games don’t have. I wouldn’t worry too much about the price. Shouldn’t the price for movie games like this declines rapidly? I bet in a few months, the games will be $19.99 in some used games store.
@LIGHTFANG02 Spiderman, Spiderman 2, Toy Story 3, Monsters vs. Aliens, the list may not be huge but it’s there. Even bigger, if you include TV games.

The movie was soooo good. Def getting the Blu ray. and the game when it get’s cheaper.

I going to keep an eye on Rango when it drops in price. And some other good movie based games that I played: Toy Story 2, King Kong The Videogame and Ghostbusters (Wii).
