Question by p1717339: How Do I get my Playstation 3 to connect to the internet on campus ?
My PS3 will work at home just fine. When I connect it to the internet it works but when I connect at college it signs me out of the playstation network and will not allow me to play. It could be because they want me to download something but I can’t it is something that you have to download to access the campus network but It does not recognize the PS3. School is boring without it please help

  1. I got though my cmapus net by getting a network card for my PC, then usign a Cat5E Crossover ethernet cable ( standard etherenet cabels are cat5e Patch type)
then in network settings turn on Internet Sharing,(this is Vista, on XP it may be diffrnet, jsut check Interent Sharing on micrsoft site for XP instructions)
Start- Network -Network and Sharing -Left Pane – Network Connections- Right click on the network port ocnnected to campus internet – Properties – Sharing(tab only appears if this connection recieves the interent) – tick both boxes.
On Ps3 run the internet wizard, shoudl work on auto, mine did, so if nto im nto sure what to do after that.
