i want to get rock band for my playstation 2 and i want to use all 3 things (guitar drums and microphone) but i want to make sure that all three will work. is there like an extra thing that i have to buy?

i think you need the adapter to play over 2 players at a time. it will work for any game not just rock band. I don’t play rock band but i play madden with 3 people and all i bought was an adapter at GameStop or EB games.

If you buy the box with all the instruments in it you will recieve a four slot usb hub for your usb ports. On the other hand you can use a guitar hero guitar to play rock band.
If you have only 2 USB ports you will need to get a USB 2.0 hub. These range from 2 port ($10) to 8 port ($40).
