@ResidentEvil3030 You’re right, I don’t know you, and quite frankly, I don’t care too, if you’re like all the wii players I know, you’re either a fat, washed-up, immature nerd, or a stupid, non-gamer that I wouldn’t play games with anyway. And please stay out of the industry if you plan to continue the type of gaming mentality that wii is trying to create, I don’t want shit consoles and games just for the sake of low prices and dumb quirks, I’ll pay the premium for quality

I actually would have taken the money part out of the equation, but I can’t find a good ps3 that plays ALL of my old games, and I don’t want a 360.
Basically, you don’t know me, and you never will. I seriously keep myself open-ended in gaming because that’s how I am, and that doesn’t seem to be how you are. I play every type of game out there (I hate the Halo and Final Fantasy series, but I still play them). I plan on going into the video game industry too to make games.

I currently have a PS2, gaming PC, and Wii. I also have a 3DS and 2 DS Lites (My brothers use them too).
I GREW UP on the PS1 and went right to PS2, my first Nintendo console was the Wii, and the first handheld was the GameBoy…I REALLY WANTED to upgrade to PS3, but it wasn’t in the budget, so I mooch
I’m sorry I can’t buy the really expensive stuff like you can. In the future, I will get a WiiU and probably the next Sony console.
@Xslayer314 Seriously, I have no idea what your problem is. I’m not trying to compare the Wii to the others, I’m just saying that that’s what I have. I obviously know the others are better in terms of performance, I’m not dumb. But Nintendo has the first-party franchises that I care about. Other things like Resident Evil, COD, etc. are on other platforms obviously, and I really wish I could play them but I can’t. Are you going to put me down because I can’t afford to get a PS3/360?

I understand if ppl arguing about ps3 vs. 360 reach a moot point after a while since THOSE SYSTEMS ARE ACTUALLY COMPARABLE, but face it: the Wii may have achieved sales, but in a gaming sense it has not lived up to the others, you the gamer know this, subconsciously if nothing else, so stop with the “idc what anyone says” crap, you don’t sound loyal or honorable, you sound like a fucking idiot, grow up (pass the message)

also I did like the creativity in the wiiu’s name. It makes perfect sense too. At least nintendo does a better job than a rumor that sega will make a dreamcast 2.
Gosh… Nintendo in my opinion has totally changed gaming. I like xbox more than wii, but that doesn’t mean that the xbox and ps3 didn’t rip off of nintendo. Nintendo did something, and other companies riped if off. Sony move = rip off of wii remote.
psp = rip off of game boy kinnect = rip off of the wii remotes motion controls. Gosh you guys call nintendo unoriginal. Also not only has other developers ripped off nintendo, but SPRINT made a 3d phone with no glasses. What’s next?

@BAMxPresents There were handheld game consoles before the GameBoy, it was just the first popular one. Someone else would’ve done something like that sooner or later.
hmm, dont understand the wiiU controller, to me it is just a reg controler with a big screan on it. Most people have more then 1 TV, making watching TV and gameing no prob… I personally liked the wiimotes better, more unique

@BrokGlass the wii U will sell more than twohundred million units, because nintendo is making more games to do exercise, dont get me wrong i like xbox 360 but nintendo was and will have the upper hand in videogames, 360 makes great games like, MvC. Castlevania Los and HoD, mortal kombat, and lots of great fightin games,
but Nintendo makes lejends, Super Mario, Loz, DK, but also violent games like: mortal kombat (the first 4) killer instinct, and Doom,
