Ok… should i get regular xbox 360 or xbox 360 elite? Also… WHY is it better than PS3 and how do I hook it up to the internet. O ya – whats the best game and how do I get and use microsoft points. and 1 more – whats Xbox live????? Thanks – I’m new to this!

PS3 is a lot better,if you want a xbox 360 get the elite because it prevents the red ring of death and it has a huge hard drive and its black.

If your not planning on saving more than 120gbs of stuff than the 20gb or 60gb version is better. It’s better than ps3 because of more games and has xbox live. Best game is for most people Halo 3, Call Of Duty 4, Any Madden Or NBA games.
Xbox live is a huge community of people playing games online like the ones mentioned above, microsoft points are used to buy things like extra map packs You get them by buying them at any walmart, gamestop, target.
To hook it up to the internet plug the ethernet cord (Included) to your router or buy the $100 adapter or for $50 on eBay.
You should get the xbox 360 elite if you want more storage and HD.Its better than the PS3 because the xbox 360 has some stuff that the PS3 doesn’t have like the games or the type of audio.The best game i think right now is Call Of Duty 4 or Halo 3 for the xbox 360.The microsoft points you have to buy at a store like Gamestop or Wal-mart or any store that sells games.You also have to buy like memberships like a 1 year kind that cost $49.99 but there are different kind of memberships like the 3-month or 1-month.Xbox live is when you get to play with other people around the country or world.You also get to send messages.Xbox 360 has achievements for each game that you can get.The one difference that i know is that the playstation network is free .But i still play my xbox 360. First of all, I personally think that Xbox 360 elite is better because of the bigger hard drive and that I download a lot of stuff. And it is better than PS3 because it has a better online games and online features, also a new update is coming to the xbox making the dashboard look even better. Also if you want to hook it up to the internet you either buy a wireless Xbox live adapter, or get an Ethernet cable and plug it directly into the router. The best game is probably either Gears of War, Halo 3 or Call of Duty 4 (COD4) . To get Microsoft points you have to buy them in a game store and you can use to get loads of things, you get additional content with them and get loads of extras with them. And finally Xbox Live is were you can play with your friends or people across the globe.

xbox arcade is just a system all white wireless controller and memory card that only holds 258mb~ btw this sucks u wont be able download nothi on market place no points in buying games with extra stuff because u cant download what u paid for. your so limited and if u get xbox live or even hooked up to internet for silver promise u download some demos thjere aleast 70 then over 100 arcade demos then there some games that as free maps and they require u to have them to play in there online
arcades are rip offs with hidden fees be the time u deside u want hard drive u force to buy the only one in stores which cost 180 bucks then u need headset for online and thats a lest 20 bucks u should just got your self elite then in feature when new system comes out u sell it for new system and u be getting less because u have to sell it in parts
then you got your self a pro thats 60gb comes with a white system with chrome on the dvd drive wireless controller 6ft Ethernet cable somewhat useless and a headset
then u got your self elite thats 120gbs black system blk controller 6 ft Ethernet cable headset
pick up elite or a pro or u regret it

xbox live silver allows you to download and thats it
xbox live gold is what u want for multilayer greatest thing ever dont regret one dime. new xboxs comes with 3 on month trails gamestores tell you one month for some reason and all u go click join xbox lve fill out the stuff at the end click u want silver then it ask if u wanna active your one month this only works 3 times
