DD3-1866 Memory Patriot PDC32G1866LLK

This is the future DDR3 memory from Patriot. This is the new memory module for the 45nm processor. PDC32g1866llk DDR3-1866 Patriot Memory running at a blistering 1866. At the moment only motherboards based Intel’s P35 or X38/X48 Express Chipset support the DDR3 memory module. AMD doesn’t support DDR3 yet. It plans to support in 2009 with its AM3 processor. Today, DDR3 price is stil high. It is about US$525. But I think it will be US$100 or cheaper in next a year. So wait.

  1. I would like to ask 32 bit windows only can put max around 2 gig of ram ? I have a 4 slot of ram and each 1 gig so it suppose to show 4 gig in my windows but it only show about 3.25 gig…may be you can tell me is it because of the 32 bit window?

  2. Ya.. I also have the same problem.. when I install 4×1GB Memory into my WinXP 32bit.. It only show 3.2Gb.. and from my experience XP could not use 100% of the Memory space.. its only use about 75%.. However when I install the 4 module in Vista x64 based PC it show all the 4Gb, and the windows also can use up to more than 90% of memory space.. but I dont have vista 32 version so I dont know whether it can read fully or not..

  3. 64 bit win xp…seldom people use that, I heard alot of program doesn’t work on that 64 bit….That’s why I brought the 32 bit when I upgrade to xp years back…wasted my money on 2 extra ram that can’t perform….:(

  4. 64bit XP hemm… I never try it… coz i heard too many problems experienced with it.. yeah finally I also only use 2 gig in my win XP and another 2 module I use on my Vista..
