Take off the side of the case, there is going to be the model number of the motherboard as well as the manufacturer. It will usually be printed in white and usually be the biggest print on the motherboard, sometimes they will also put a small sticker with the manufacturer also.
A easy trick to finding out who the manufacturer of the motherboard is
hold down the windows key and push R
a run dialog box will come up
type in dxdiag and push ok
and on the first screen it will tell you your serial number as well as the manufacturer as well as other various info about your computer
then just go to the website and put in your motherboard model and select your OS and start downloading any drivers you need they will be listed in device manager as a ! or ?

Most motherboard manufacturers have a website. On their website there is usually a link to support / drivers / downloads. You go there, find your model and download the most up to date drivers.
For knowing your model of the motherboard, you can try the computer model if it is a brand name computer, or the motherboard model number if it is a custom computer. If you need help finding the motherboard model number and your system is operational, you could try using a program such as SIW or CPU-Z. Some motherboards may also have the model number printed on the board, but be careful if you open the case, as shocking any component may cause your motherboard to fail due to electrostatic discharge.
Some times windows update will get drivers loaded for you devices, though not always the correct drivers and may cause problems trying to use the device.
