Is there any tool to minimize the hdd footprint of Windows 7. I don’t want all the drivers offline on my expensive SSD harddisk. How can I make the OS installation more space efficient?

As far as I know you cant but get a second option on that.

The only way is to reduce the things you install. Run the installation again and “uninstall” anything you don’t need – Powerpoint, sample files, etc. how much space you can save depends on how much you can do without.
