You will have to get a new motherboard from the laptop manufacturer (you can’t use any other MB). Call the manufacturers technical support/parts sales and they can tell you how to get a new MB.

  1. Laptop motherboards are generally dedicated to the manufacturer. You would need to buy from them or one of their agents. They are NOTHING like a desktop motherboard.

  2. Replacing the motherboard on a laptop is not a job for a beginner (no disrespect).
Take it to a specialist or buy a new laptop.
Replacing a motherboard on a desktop PC is pretty straighforward – but a laptop is so much more difficult because of the way laptops are constructed.

  3. You may or may not be knowing that laptops aren’t upgradeable!! You will not be able to find out which mother board will suit you. It is the job of the manufacture company. And by the way, there’s no point in changing the motherboard. I think, if the motherboard is not working you should buy a new laptop instead. It will be a little costlier but maybe some other part also fails in future then the purchase of a new motherboard will be in vain. The case is different if you are under warranty. :)
