  1. is this song about a suicide?

“I wake up and the phone is ringing,
    Surprised, as it’s early.
And that should be the perfect warning,
    That something’s, a problem.
To tell the truth I saw it coming,
    The way, you were breathing.
But nothing can prepare you for it,
The voice, on the other, end.”

  14. Great song, but the album/long version is definitely better

  15. This song is so underrated. It definitely deserves more than a million views. Its so freaking good!

  16. I liked LCD Soundsystem and This is Happening, but Sound of Silver was their best album.

  17. great song…….only trouble is if i listen to it then it sticks in my head for HOURS!!

  18. @riotgrrrrl1288 Not a? little boy. Has a silhouette like Lissy Trullie. Rather sure the sheet sequence and the breasts at the beginning indicate it was a woman in that blank form.

  19. super sad, but good :) i like the silouette of the little boy at the end…

  20. @panictryouts actually, the common theory is it is about a still-birth and it’s affects on his wife/family etc… “I wish that we could talk about it… you’re smaller than my wife imagined, surprised you were human… there shouldn’t be this radio silence”
Listen to the lyrics, it makes sense!

  21. 15 people don’t know what it’s like when someone great is gone.

  22. I used to think tribulations was their best song. I stand corrected.

  23. anybody else just seem them at ACL? uh-maaaazing.

  24. shes very black. interatiall couples are cool.

  25. for all yall open minded listeners Kid Cudi has an amazing rap verse over this track in his song “Can I Be”. cheers.

  26. @gunveer1234

LED still uses LCD technology, only thing that changes is the backlight.

  27. @prozack666 I have both types of tv. Plasma has a better picture. LCD is brighter which looks good in a bright store. Once you get home, it’s a different story. Unless you have a real bright room, the Plasma is the better tv.

  28. @jattwhiskey604

    LCD

  29. thumbs for led tv

  30. @jattwhiskey604 Panasonic tc-p42s2

  31. which is good for gaming

  32. Noone mentioned the horrible latency the LCD has which makes it difficult to play video games which require quick response time. I just took my LCD back to the store and picked up a plasma. I am very happy now and owning people on bad company 2 again.

  33. @mavsfan1000 4real homeboy, i agree with you!

  34. @mavsfan1000 1.LED? 2.LCD? 3.Plasma

  35. @AlanJits You can set the tv to shut off after 3 hours on Panasonic Plasma’s. You can also shut them off 10-minutes if no image is present. It is under eco saving.

  36. @S4ukk0
    1. plasma
    2. LED
    3. LCD

  37. @StaryJim Acer is a noname I suspect tho I have two of them one works and one don’t. Only an idiot uses that term against a 14 year to one 1 (one) observation then challenges it with not even one specification except that his game boy probabely works better on it. Back off fool!

  39. 1.Led 2.LCD 3.Plasma

  40. i go with LCD..

  41. Quality of picture = Contrast, Black levels, best response time, Color accuracy, Size. Resolution.
Plasmas have the highest on all category including resolution up to 4k on a single screen. Panasonic also has a 150″ plasma since 09
Maybe use more power and heavier?
But then what do you buy a TV for? picture of course!
Panasonic plasma rarely fails and design is extremely good internally on positioning on hardware inside. Thats quality for both picture and TV itself

  42. @StaryJim
What the heck do you mean high quality….?
“High quality” doesn’t mean anything. Would you go to a lit theater? No off course not. It messes the contrast. Contrast determines the quality of the picture.
The debate here plasma vs lcd in terms of pure performance in a dark room, say the best against the best. Its is hands down to plasma. I would go for a quality panel any day. You can still game on a 42″ panasonic plasma btw with lights on. As long as lighting isn’t direct on panel

  43. @MKBEntertainment when you get to smaller sizes for Plasma, Which is what they use in pro gaming, plasmas can’t do the high quality thing quite like an LCD can. You don’t pro game on a 60″ screen. If you want to game on a HUGE screen, then yes plasma may be the better option. but again, gaming, with the lights off or in a dark room is bad for your eyes, gives headaches etc.

  44. @Sbrff
If your in a dark room go for plasmas.
dark movies work very well and skin tones are more accurate.
Out of the box, some tv are thx cert. so their color reproduction is already very good even without professional calibration.

  45. NEC LCD Panels are far more accurate then any gaming panel and run at res of 1600, and is used in hospitals because of contrast needed.
However not suitable for gaming because of response/ghosting.
Plasmas have great contrast and black levels and faster response. I run OC’d systems as well too when I game, in a dark room and having compared panels side by side I know for a fact. The up side for LCD is because its lighter and thin making triple panels appealing for desktops.

  46. @StaryJim
Contrast, black levels, shows are 24p/29.97/30. plasmas are better and more accurate in color reproduction.
in terms of response crts are faster then any lcds. Any gamer knows that. just because “gamers” use it doesn’t make it the best. there are too many tn panels these days their color is crap. Go check after calibration tests. saying pro league gamers uses lcd as proof isn’t proof because it doesn’t prove picture quality is good because they use cheap 6bit panels.

  47. @MKBEntertainment beat in which way? Mhz, yeah, because that’s what plasmas are for. Gaming, no, as a computer monitor, no. LCD is FAR better. Want proof? Go look into ANY pro gaming league and see what type of displays they use. They will ALL be LCD. Computer techies, like myself, all use LCD for our computer monitors, only under 2 circumstances will we use plasma over LCD, if it’s a dark room, or we want larger than 55″ display. No other reason.

  48. @detroitjimmy You’re an idiot, you CLEARLY bought some no name piece of shit and paid little to nothing for it and can’t figure out why it sucks shit. Other products name brands don’t matter, but when it comes down to tv’s, it does. Samsung, Panasonic, Sharp, Sony. They’re the best. You don’t buy one of those, don’t expect the most. Don’t judge a whole kind of tv (LCD or Plasma) because you bought a shitty quality one.

  49. creo que ya me estoy decidiendo, si plasma o LCD.. obvio LCD.ahora la marca!

  50. No lcd could last 60,000 hours more like 6,000. Fact: 15 year and 1 month tested.. I have a gas 14 year old 21″ Acer that cost the same as my 21″ lcd Acer 1 year 1 month old and lcd’s works if you don’t mind watching a movies thru nineteen 1/2″ thick white vertical lines and twenty 1/2″ thick dark vertical lines in a 21′” span after 1 year and 1 month or right after your factory warrenty runs out. Oh by the way (the movie shows up behind the lines) . New technology means not-time-tested.
