Toshiba D-R410: Cheap DVD-recorder
It is one of DVD recorder from Toshiba. In a cheap price, it can perform basic functions of DVD recorder. If you are the people who like recording DVD, Toshiba D-R140 is a good choice. If you can live with less than pristine recordings and don’t want to spend more for extra features, the Toshiba D-R140 is a perfectly competent DVD-recorder. But, The dimensions are 2.32 x 16.54 x 9.72 inches.
Strengths:
a.It is cheap
b.In its cheap price, Toshiba D-R 410 is able to perform basic functions of DVD recorder. If you want to record, just popping in a disc, selecting an input, pressing record, and hitting Stop if you are finished.
c.Most all of DVD formats are supported.
Weaknesses:
a.This Toshiba product does not have IR blaster. It means that you have to tune satellite box/ cable in to the right channel. So annoying!
b.It does not offer bonus features, such as DVD-RAM compatibility, a flexible recording speed. Extra connectivity is not available, such as SDHC card slot and a USB.
c.The quality of recorded video is mediocre.
d.The remote control is rather difficult to use if we compare with Panasonic DMR-EA 18 K.
