Im planning to get a laptop and hope it lasts at least four years, i will use it a lot will notebook coolers help it to last longer so it doesnt break?
1) I know cleaning the fans and carrying it around less helps too
2) does notebook coolers help or do they just make your computer run smoother since at higher temperatures it slows down.
3) Any other methods to help a laptop last longer?

notebook coolers reduce the temperature of the laptops components so, they will last longer.
make sure that you choose a popular computer so that you can buy replacement parts for your laptop: I have an old IBM T41 ThinkPad which is like 4 years old but, it has a user manual which tells you how to remove and replace all the different parts which you can get cheap online. I’ve so far upgraded the processor, the RAM and the harddisk.
