Also, if i get a refurbished netbook, would it come with the features new ones come with, i.e. microsoft word? If i get it online, i only have accounts on Ebay and Amazon, so don’t suggest other sites. Thanks!

Of course refurbished does not mean that they cut down the features it’s only that they have been used by someone.

If you are buying it cheap – that usually means you are getting what you pay for.
Be careful who you buy from; with newer versions of Windows and Word/Office, Microsoft can and will check licenses. If your machine or software is illegal, it can be confiscated, and you are out all the money.
instead of cheap” consider alternative funding.. I mean instead of a purely cash deal, maybe you can trade something instead of cash. Work out a deal for some labor / time.. or some objects you don’t use any more.
