“Download Day” of Firefox 3
Till now, there hasn’t been world record to software downloads. However, Mozilla will break it with making a “Download Day” of Firefox 3. Mozilla planned to register this day to Guinness World Record for the largest number of software downloads in 24 hours. Mozilla wants the users to download Firefox 3 and to ask other relatives and colleagues to download too. The users are expected to use “Download Day” sign in their Web sites.
Actually, public hasn’t known Firefox 3 will be available. Maybe it’s about in the middle of June. Actually, Firefox is the big challenger of Microsoft Internet Explorer since its launching, in November 2004. The users of Firefox are also big, more than 175 million people and in more than 230 countries.
