Once again, a new mobile phone from Sony Ericsson. It’s the P990i. It’s made to substitute the unpopular P910a from America. The P990i is collaboration from Swede and Japan. The main important thing is the Sony Ericsson P990i uses a new mobile technology. Moreover, the QWERTY keyboard is integrated to this great cellphone.

Now, take a look to its design. The Ericsson P990i seems like too small. The dimensions are 4.4 x 2.2 x 1 inches. It’s also smaller than Palm Treo 700p with its weight is about 5.3 oz. If you like using flip keypad when using QWERTY keyboard, this mobile phone is good for you. Thanks to the silver color which makes it more beautiful. It is also supported with touchscreen with handwriting recognition and stylus. It has a TFT 240 x 320 pixels resolution display. The screen provides 262 144 colors. The Ericsson P990i has a Li – Ion battery which can run till 400 hours for stand by and 9 hours of talk time.

The other applications you can enjoy to this smartphone are music player, 2 MP camera, video recording, and business card scanner. It supports Wi Fi and UMTS/ 3G network too.

However, this small mobile phone seems too expensive. It is sold at $849 till $1,099.
