Finding the Consumers of iPod Touch and iPhone

As we know, iPod Touch and iPhone are two products of Apple. If we look from the design, both of them have similarities. However, if we pay attention to the consumers, there is a tendency that there are so many differences of iPod Touch and iPhone’s consumers. It’s not bullshit. You can find it from a survey done by AdMob, an American advertisement network and comScore, a marketing research company.

This survey wants to find out the characteristics of iPhone and iPod Touch’s users in USA. There are 3,848 iPod Touch’s users and 3,454 iPhone’s users who participate to this survey. The complete results of this survey are described below.
First, we will identify the iPod Touch’s owners. From their prosperity, iPhone’s consumers are richer than iPod Touch’s. It is proved by 66% of iPod Touch’s consumers earn about US $ 25,000 and about 78% of iPhone’s consumers earn about it. In addition, the iPod Touch’s consumers tend to like something related to clothes, TV, mobile phones, and other electronic devices.
Moreover, iPhone’s users are father or mother. It is proved by these percentages: about 46 percents of iPhone’s owners have children, but only 28 percents of iPod Touch’s users have children.
How about the difference related to age? iPhone’s users are older than iPod Touch’s consumers who are about 13 till 24 years old.
