Gates do not work again at  Microsoft. People speculate that Microsot will change. These are the prediction:
1. Open source is Its Choice

Almost of  web activities use open standard, so Microsoft is pressed and seems to be out of date if still closing its code source. Open source will be Microsoft’s choice for its products. Just look  Moonlight. Moonlight is the implementation of  Silverlight open source for Linux. This product is sponsored by  Novell. Microsoft also helped it.

2. Windows will be different

Windows 7 that will be launched in  January 2010 is so popular. Some features like photo, email,  and video will appear in  Windows 7. Therefore, the users  do not need to use other applications.

3. Acquisition for developing its income

Microsoft hardly got big acquisition. But, recent days its acquisition with Yahoo valued $44,6 billion happened. This acquisition shows that Microsoft want to get better position in the online advertisement market. It seems that Microsoft will get big acquisition again

4.Responding to web  interoperability seriously

Microsoft said that it will include Open Document Format in the Office. If it happens, documents can be processed into some various platforms.

5. Being itself

We often associate Microsoft with Gates. Now,  you will know Microsoft as itself.
