This is the Future Personal Urban Transport
The development of car trend changes everyday. The changes can be in the form of fuel used, machines, etc. Therefore, many companies always innovate their products in order to win the competition, include Riversimple, a famous England car company. Riversimple launched a future personal urban transport, called Riversimple Urban Car (RUC). Besides this big company, Cranfield and Oxford University also have a role to develop this future car. Actually, this is not the first project of hydrogen car made by Riversimple because it also cooperated with Morgan LIFEcar to make the similar car.
RUC is a micro car prototype that uses hydrogen as the fuel. The hydrogen tank weight is about 1 kg or 2.21 lb. In addition, it also has two seats. To control 4 electrical motor, this future car uses 6 kilowatts fuel cell. There is also a regenerative brake system that is able to save energy in the ultra capacitor set.
The company claimed that it used composite recyclable materials to make the RUC.
How about the speed? It’s about 50 mph.
For testing the RUC, Riversimple planned it in the end of 2010. The RUC will be used as rental car. You can rent it at $ 327 each month per for 20 years.
