Water is used to Cool the Chip
Water has many functions. It’s not only used as our daily needs to drink, but also to cool the chip. IBM now is developing this idea. By using water pump, water is entered to processor and other motherboard components to cool the chip.
This idea based on the energy that are not useful in the form of heat energy about 1 kilowatt. Besides, there’s an obstacle to lose the heat in the chip. Therefore, IBM made water pipe to the cooling tunnel. Through this tunnel, the water will flow to processor.
Possibly, IBM’s innovation will make the users being interested because 3-D chip is very famous now. With its form, it needs shorter time to send data. Besides, it’s more efficient.
