Windows is Threatened by Google Android
It seems that Windows is threatened by Google Android because this new software gets a lot of attention from public. Even, two big developers, Acer and Asus will make Android based netbooks some times to come. In addition, Acer plans to launch and announce an Android based netbook in this year. Besides Acer and Asus, there’s also other company which also has made an Android based netbook too. It is ECS’s netbook. This netbook will be sold less than US$ 500.
Although Google does not take any money for the developers which use Android, Google still gets opportunity. This profit comes from customers which always use Google to fill their comfort in using Android.
Because many companies use non Windows products and Android in their products, it will be a good condition for Google to expand its products. It seems that Android will win the competition in the software market in the computer world.
Seeing this condition, some experts suggest to Microsoft to decrease the price of Windows 7. This action should be taken place after knowing the popularity of Android. By taking this action, Windows 7 will be still competitive.
