Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac is Microsoft Office productivity suite for Mac OS X. It is the Macintosh equivalent of Office 2007.

Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac was released on January 15, 2008. It was developed by Microsoft’s Macintosh Business Unit.

Office 2008 for Mac includes Entourage 2008, Excel 2008, PowerPoint 2008 and Word 2008, and available in three edition:

• Office Home and Student Edition
• Office Standard Edition (adds Microsoft Exchange support)
• Office Special Media Edition (Microsoft Exchange support and Expression Media)
