How to make a 100 ft glow stick. Brighter than Electroluminescent wire and self-powered. This can be used to decorate, glow stuff up, or create all kinds of awesome effects. Warning: TCPO is carcinogenic and you should wear gloves and masks while working with it. The procedure is simple, mix together 500mg of 9,10-bis(phenylethynyl)anthracene and 17g of TCPO in 500mL of diethyl phthalate solvent and heat it up until it dissolves. Then top it up to about 2.1 liters and add 120mL of hydrogen peroxide and 10g of sodium acetate. Shake thoroughly and draw into a 100 ft glow stick with an inner diameter of 3/8″. Suction by a vacuum pump is recommended. To prevent spilling the ends should be capped with brass or plastic compression fittings. Leave 5+ feet of space in the tube to allow for expansion of the chemicals depending on temperature. Glow stick will last for about 6 hours. Use more TCPO if a longer glow is needed. Possibly the world’s biggest glow stick.

I have an ap in my flat and want to connect to the laptop media server in my parents lounge. If I improve the antennas on both ends I’m sure it will help.
I’ve got a dlink ap gonna try this. Would it help if I got an extension to the ap and mounted the antenna with a bracket outside?
Any ideas on how to boost the laptop? I opened it and see the AUX and MAIN wrap around the screen with a silver backing. Aiming the screen 90 degrees to the direction of the ap

btw, you can also make one for the receiving computer… i put one on my router and one on my remote computer and works…
this works… adds about 5-6 dbi

@dussin23 haha funny but no our router is in the basement i have know idea why my dad put it there but ya its in our basement and when have to houses on the same property and im in the building that the router is not. i only get 1 maybe 2 bars of signal strangle and we bought this router for $ 150 its the D-link extream N gameing routher with a 200ft signal streanght so ya im not it prison but it feels like it because my parents are so stricte im 16 and i cant leave the house unless i ask.

this does nothing to help in need to have mine go through 1 foot of concret and 50 ft away and this does crap.
the BEST antt I have found is to velcro a Swansons metal tv dinner tray to the back of your laptop, sure it looks funny and your computer will smell of old chicken fat but if you cant afford wifi you cant afford to be picky….you have to align the fudge brownie section over the antt built into the laptop lid….

This may be difficult but but knit a large cylinder out of medical tubing and pump the glowing fluid through the tubing pulling the tube out of the fluid to create bubbles in the tubing, like the fluid dress youtube
Maybe there is some complicated math problem that can be done to make a picture of some sort. Or possibly even multiple colors to get a picture in color.
I’d shape clear plastic containers to cover the outside of a chopper & fill it with the solution (likely with orange, green, blue or red just because they would look cool) then just show it off. It’d put a threaded cap an each piece so I can drain & refill it… god that would look cool to speed through a town in the middle of the night with that
