  1. @cee607 The problem with eating loads of meet and cheese is that it puts you in an acidic & inflammatory state (hence your red skin), and reduces your intake of omega 3 fats. By eating any source of animal protein you need to balance this out with alkaline forming foods like vegetables. The paleo diet is a better, healthy way to lose weight.

  2. a hormone specialist told me to do the new Atkins new you diet which made my skin blotchy and red also i only lost 3 pounds in 2weeks on weight watchers i lose 5/ 10 but its just getting probably back on it at the moment i dont really drink alot of milk only with my fruit and fiber cereal but when i was on my Atkins i was told i could eat loads of meat cook it any way and cheese i prefer weight watchers alot more though

  3. It is so hard to eat healthier, especially when you are not raised to eat healthy. Where I come from, there is a limited amount of healthy alternatives; Faster foods and unhealthy foods are more convenient. Instead of smashing a piece of chocolate cake when I’m stressed out, I could go for a walk or eat some apples and wheat crackers or something. Hang in there, ladies…there is hope for us and one day we will be blessed and have the children that our hearts desire.

  4. I got diagnosed with PCOS a year ago aged 19. It’s a shock there isn’t a cure for something this common. Anyway thank you for the tips. Question, as I’m from an Asian background, my diet relies heavily on rice as a staple food in all meals. What could I do to lose weight that doesn’t require giving up rice? Also what other foods are good for promoting hormonal balance besides Spearmint?

  5. can u tell me exactly how can we know tht a person is havin pco ? plz hlpe me koz m wrongly operated plz

  6. hi julie
is peanut butter good for pcos … and what about soy milk instead of the other regular milk???? please help :/

  7. Women with PCOS should avoid soy at all costs. Its been highly advertised as this miracle health food however for PCOS’ers its one of the worst things you can ingest. It contains phytoestrogens, which are a group of chemicals found in plants that can act like the hormone estrogen. Women with PCOS already have irregular hormones, many have too much estrogen. So adding more into the mix only worsens things.

  8. Hi! Thank you for great video! I got diagnosed with PCOS for 2 months ago, and has reduced the dairy products intake since I saw this video. The problem is that I LOVE milk, all kind of cheese products.. Which products can I eat and drink instead? Is soya milk products ok? Hope you answer!! =))

  9. @CrooningCardinal I would avoid these too

  10. @latinavaquerita You don’t need to drink anything in place of milk, society has led us to believe we need milk, but we don’t. We need calcium, yes, but optimal calcium is achieved not only by calcium intake but by a mostly alkaline forming diet that keeps pH in balance (plenty of vegetables, fruits, less grains…etc). Any milk from dairy (incl goats) i would reduce or avoid.

  11. Hello, what is something I could drink in place of milk? I don’t like soy milk, but I read somewhere that’s bad for PCOS anyway. Are all milks bad, like goats milk, etc?

  12. reduce the amount u eat…

  13. Hello!! I had a weight loss surgery 6 months ago since loose weight on my own was very hard due to the PCOS…. We all know dairy products provides calcium, protein, etc that’s important for our diet, what’s a good substitute for that?? Specially for wls patients… Please help!!!!

  14. @TheFussyVlog You’re welcome – good luck!

  15. Thank you so much for this… I didn’t know about the effects of dairy!
I’ve got spots and excess hair that’s just driving me up the wall… and I’m a sucker for cheese’s and milk!
Cutting that down straight away… Thanks again :)

  16. This makes a lot of sense. I’m sure it’s not a surprise to anyone but my doctor didn’t even MENTION insulin resistance. I was on the Dr. Bernstein and felt fantastic…..funny, the diet promotes EVERYTHING that is in this video.

  17. @poweroverpcos I’ve noticed apple cider vinegar tablets/capsules being sold in health food shops in Sydney, Australia. Is this recommended or is it best to use the liquid form?! Thanks.

  18. @PowerOverPCOS Thanks. Do you put it in water? I have also heard that apple cider helps women who don’t have PCOS, but DO have PMS symptoms. It supposedly lessens them a lot.

  19. @DulceRainbow Start with small amount (eg 1/4 tspn) and build up slowly to what you can handle. I will do a blog post soon answering this question in more detail – poweroverpcos(dot)com/blog

  20. @mahaileygirl – Spearmint tea

  21. please help! What teas did she mention? the one that starts with a “s” I never heard of it so I want to know so I can get this. . .

  22. Would it be okay to eat/drink goat and sheep milk and products? Or are they just as damaging as regular dairy?

  23. I have heard a LOT about apple cider vinegar…esp. when it comes to PMS. How often do you suggest one uses it & how much of it, as well? (ie. 1 tsp per ___ water? etc?) Thanks!

  24. We need a lot more information on diets and things like that on PCOS so important!!!

  25. @jznt I totally understand what you mean. Get ipl treatment to remove your excess hair. PCOS treatment with medication will help with the menses, hormones and all, but whatever hair you have will not disappear by itself. You will need to get rid of them – trust me. i have been there.

  26. … I know I didnt make it through bean grinding 101.

  27. I don’t think it’s right for places to depend on customers to pay their employess salaries by tipping. I didn’t hire you, why should I have to pay? I understand you get paid 2 or 3 dollars an hour, but you knew that coming into it. Also, why does it have to be 10 or 15 percent of the meal cost. Just because I want to treat myself to a steak, I have to tip more?

  28. see sanguine is arguing with himself now because i’m not replying to him. See how funny that is?

  29. @crazyjak56 so you dont start flame wars by not replying? didn’t you tell me that in a reply to what i had said? irony, or just stupidity. you pick.

  30. @Goldstar127 It’s silly man. not shitty man

  31. What’s funny about this is that Chai Tea really is expensive…

  32. @MrNosfaratu at a comment that wasn’t directed at him? then yes

  33. @runeboyz7 Getting offended is ignorant?

  34. @SanguineDeum good job you started a comment war and made yourself look ignorant! congratulations. Also note that i didn’t start one because i just have to not reply!

  35. 0:28 THANK YOU!

  36. 0:28 A-MEN!

  37. @SanguineDeum again you talking about ignorence when you are the one getting offended by a comment on a public video

  38. @runeboyz7 hope it does say a lot. that joke is over used and fucking annoying. My intelligence is offended by this repitition and simple mindedness. I am not even sure how you arn’t pissed, but i guess ignorence truely is bliss.

  39. @SanguineDeum whats funny is your right my mom is a whore. what i find even funnier is your getting mad about a joke that wasnt even about you. says alot about you actually

  40. @runeboyz7 when you were born the world’s collective IQ dropped by at least 60%. do the world a favor and choke yourself, you dislike button bashing attention whore. Though, i suppose if you stopped being a whore, you nd your mum would have nothing in common, which is why you were brought into the world in the first place, douche bag.

  41. @SanguineDeum nah but your mom does for having you and passing the doctor up on that abortion.

when i see you i know why mama cats eat there babies

  42. @runeboyz7 i think you make ten.

  43. @Holydragonblade Sounds funnier the way I said it.

  44. @Goldstar127 I believe it’s silly man, not shitty man.

  45. 9 peple didn’t get tipped by foamy
