Having your phone number listed publicly can be a useful way to let family, friends, and coworkers reach you. If you want to unlist your number from Google’s search results, follow these steps outlined by Shuman Ghosemajumder.

  7. BE AWARE Google keeps records of all your searches for 18 months together with your IP address. That’s personally identifiable, whatever they say.There is no legal requirement for it. They just do it. WHY?
