When allowing others to “take over” computer how to insure security?

Question by WonderingWanderer: When allowing others to “take over” computer how to insure security?
I bought a new computer and numerous people tried to get it to allow Internet with my card. Eventually I got connected..after allowing a specialist to “take over” control of my computer. Now I wonder how to make sure security is not compromised. Any suggestions to calm my fears?

Hello,
after using a remote assist session you should re enable your firewall and Anti Virus programs.

It is always a good idea to re boot/start your computer after a remote session.
